With the ubisys Shutter Control J1 you can make your existing blinds / shutters / awnings / projection screens smart: control them via app, integrate them into scenes and automations, and much more.
The J1 allows you to raise and lower blinds, shutters and awnings. Let the J1 manage your shutters for you. Set up schedules via app and have your shutters go up and down according to your daily rhythm. Integrate the J1 into scenes and/or control multiple shutters simultaneously with one push button. Installation is quick and so is the setup.
Function: The J1 is a smart blind/roller shutter actuator with power consumption measurement to control your shading.
Smart Control: Control is via conventional switches, radio-controlled Zigbee switches, Green Power switches, apps, voice commands (e.g. Alexa, Siri) and automations. A Zigbee gateway/hub, such as the ubisys Gateway G1, is required for control via Zigbee.
High Compatibility: The smart J1 is directly compatible with countless Zigbee smart home systems, such as Home Assistant. And via Matter* with many other systems (e.g. Apple Home, Google Home).
More Convenience: To increase your comfort, the J1 can be integrated into scenes, time-controlled actions and automations. Let the J1-R manage your roller shutters for you. Set up schedules via the app and have your roller shutters raised and lowered according to your daily rhythm.

Integrated Electricity Meter The J1 records the actual electrical energy demand of the connected consumer and displays it in the ubisys app.
Always up to Date With the Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware upgrade function, these components always remain up to date. Firmware updates are free of charge.
Groups and Scenes Connected pushbuttons can be set up so that you can use them to control groups (e.g. lights or blinds) or activate scenarios.
Compatibility with Philips Hue The Philips Hue Bridge/App currently supports the Zigbee 3.0 standard, but not all device types are displayed in the Hue App. Currently, only the ubisys components D1(-R), S1(-R) and S2(-R) can be controlled with the Hue app. When and to what extent the Hue App will support further ubisys products is not known. However, the ubisys Gateway G1 and the components C4, D1(-R), S1(-R) and S2(-R) can control Philips Hue light sources.

Installation
The J1 installation fits into sufficiently deep DIN 49073 boxes and can be installed behind any blind double switch or in a wall or ceiling outlet - so you do not need to replace your existing switches and sockets. Only unconventional switches, e.g. those used in bus systems (KNX/EIB), are unsuitable. The particularly compact design simplifies installation. Due to the robust and innovative radio technology, there are no special requirements for the electrical installation. The J1 is therefore not only suitable for new buildings, but also for refurbishments and renovations.
