The LD6 is a radio controlled smart lighting controller which can be integrated into your luminaires, furniture, or installed in suspended ceilings, etc.
Main Functions
Equipped with 6 channels, the LD6 is suitable for RGB, RGBW or WW/CW light sources. All 6 channels are configurable and thus offer the most diverse lighting options. The RGB/RGBW color control allows infinitely variable adjustment of countless color shades. The "Tunable White" option can create natural light such as daylight, task lighting or pleasant living room light by continuously mixing cool and warm white – making it ideal for daylight simulations (HCL). Furthermore, the device has a push-button interface for local operation (e.g. for floor lamps) and a sensor interface. With its multi-radio protocol function, the LD6 makes your luminaires Zigbee and Bluetooth capable at the same time.

Due to the innovative wireless technology, the LD6 is not only suitable for new buildings, but also for refurbishments and renovations. Additional components can be gradually added and integrated into your Smart Home.
Always up to Date
With the Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware upgrade function, these components always remain up to date. Firmware updates are free of charge.
Zigbee Direct
With Zigbee Direct, users can seamlessly interact with their Zigbee networks via a smartphone, tablet or other Bluetooth-enabled device. This means a hub is no longer mandatory for a connection between the smartphone/tablet and the end device.
The ubisys LED driver LD6 (from firmware version 1.1.1) is the world’s first device that supports Zigbee Direct.
Compatibility with Philips Hue
The Philips Hue Bridge/App currently supports the Zigbee 3.0 standard, but not all device types are displayed in the Hue App. Currently, only the ubisys components D1(-R), S1(-R) and S2(-R) can be controlled with the Hue app. When and to what extent the Hue App will support further ubisys products is not known. However, the ubisys gateway G1 and the components C4, D1(-R), S1(-R) and S2(-R) can control Philips Hue light sources.
