Ever since our foundation in 2005 we have dedicated ourselves entirely to the Internet of Things (IoT) focusing on radio-based home and building automation. Today, we can offer our customers a product range that is very unique in its entirety, ranging from our own Zigbee stack, a broad portfolio of Zigbee 3.0-certified hardware components, our own iOS/Android control app to our on-premise or cloud-based data cockpit solution.

IoT: Home and building automation – This is our world! Here our in-house developed app controls a large number of our own as well as third-party Zigbee compatible components via our gateway, covering areas from lighting, shading, heating, ventilation and air conditioning technology, all the way to security technology and alarm systems. Our product portfolio ranges from small applications in private households to complex applications in office and industrial buildings. A very special unique selling point is the innate perfect integration of software and hardware as both is provided by ubisys technologies ‘from the ground up’ providing tangible added value, greatly appreciated by our customers time and again. It goes without saying that our range of products extends far beyond the world of software and hardware solutions to the fields of service and maintenance.

From the very beginning, ubisys technologies main focus has always been on developing a sound global market penetration and a broad orientation towards a number of target markets. Today, we are able to fully serve both B2B and B2C customers with our products. We are happy to emphasize that all services offered are not only offered as ubisys technologies solutions, but also as customized white label or rebranding solutions. Due to this we are somewhat proud to have been able to attract a large number of regional and internationally renowned customers from all continents, wining them over with a combination of our products, expert knowledge and services.

We regard the Zigbee wireless standard as the vital “backbone” of our automation solutions. For this reason, we support and influence the Zigbee Alliance via Vice Chairman positions in the core areas of ‘Zigbee PRO Core Balloting Group’, ‘Zigbee PRO Base Device Behavior Balloting Group’ and the technical management committee ‘Technical Committee’. In addition, our CEO is a voting member of the Zigbee PRO Subgroup and the Technical Committee. Equally important to us is our active involvement in the Zigbee PRO Green Power Balloting Group, and current topics such as the Works With All Hubs Task Group. That we look beyond the horizon in this context is perfectly demonstrated by our BLEND/Z technology, which enables seamless integration with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), but also by the liaison with the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA), whose aim is to implement a standardized, high-performance Zigbee/DALI gateway.

For us at ubisys, quality and longevity are cornerstones of sustainability, to which ubisys technologies is particularly committed. This is reflected not only in a 5-year warranty for our hardware, but also in continuous software updates with which we supply our components for at least the same period of time. For example, the fact that we still supply updates with new features and new standards for devices designed in 2010 illustrates our understanding of quality in the sense of sustainability and gives our customers confidence to invest in technologically outstanding and valuable products.
